Cambodia:

Cambodia is a Southeast Asian nation whose landscape spans low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and Gulf of Thailand coastline. Phnom Penh, its capital, is home to the art deco Central Market, glittering Royal Palace and the National Museum’s historical and archaeological exhibits. In the country’s northwest are the ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire!          

Vietnam:

Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country on the South China Sea known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French colonial landmarks, plus Vietnamese War history museums and the Củ Chi tunnels, used by Viet Cong soldiers!

DAY 01: ARRIVE IN SIEM REAP -CAMBODIA

Pick up from airport and then transfer to check in the hotel. Afternoon, visit Cambodian Cultural Villages (http://www.cambodianculturalvillage.com/), including Wax Museum, Miniatures, former capital Ou Dong, Royal palace, National Museum, Wat Phnom, PhsarThmey, 12th century KompongKdey Bridge, 16th century reclining Buddha and Independent Monument.  Also includes Carving, Traditional Dances Show and Villages. Shopping at the local market.

DAY 02: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT TOUR

We visit the Angkor National Museum www.angkornationalmuseum.com known as the grand entrance to a world-class heritage that reveals the glory of Angkor Civilization. This museum enhances the cultural heritage of the Golden Era of Khmer Kingdom through amassed collection of invaluable artifacts and through state of the art multimedia technology exhibition for a full picturesque legendary story. Then continue to start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We visit the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.

DAY 03: SIEM REAP CITY TOUR – TONLE SAP LAKE

We will visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located south of 10 kilometers of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spend the rest of time visiting the “ChantiersEcoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor” which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. We will drive to the Pouk district about 15 Km in the West of Siem Reap town you visit the silk farm, a fascinating farm/workshop where you can see the entire silk creation process including growing the food for the silk worms, breeding the worms, silk extraction and refinement, traditional kit dying pattern creation and looming. Retail silk and souvenir shop. On the way back, visit the Western Baray (Baray Occidental) measuring 8 km by 2.3 km which provided water for the intensive cultivation of lands around Angkor.

DAY 04: SIEM REAP – HANOI, VIETNAM (BY FLIGHT)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, our guide and driver meet and transfer you to the hotel (check-in time at 14:00hrs, early check-in is not inclusive and subject to the availability).

DAY 05: HANOI  – CITY TOUR

The Capital of Vietnam and one of the hidden gems of South East Asia, Hanoi retains elegance and charm not often found in this part of the world, the city’s French influence is to be seen in the fine old colonial buildings and tree lined boulevards.

08:00hrs, meet our local English-Speaking guide at your hotel lobby and start our full day tour discovery of Hanoi.

We first stop at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (view from outside, closed on Mondays, Friday and every afternoon), a large memorial in Hanoi where the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh is preserved. Within this complex, we also visit Ho Chi Minh residence, and One Pillar Pagoda, a historical Buddhist in Hanoi which is built of wood on a single stone pillar and to resemble a lotus blossom

Then, we move to visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam which is dedicated to Confucius. Here you will be introduced the art of wood carving and bronze casting in Vietnam in the 19th century. If you visit this temple before Vietnamese Traditional Tet holiday, you would see how the calligraphist writing wishes in Han characters outside the temple.

In the afternoon, we continue with Ethnology Museum, where we can find a wide range of displayed items belong to 54 ethnic minorities of Vietnam. Almost the most outstanding characteristics as well as cultural patterns of Vietnamese minorities are shown there.

Leaving behind the museum,visit HoanKiem Lake, free to shop in the Old Quarter, the 36 Old Streets. Each individual street was named after the products sold there. Then enjoy water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. Water Puppet is an art form that dates back to the 11th century. The tradition of water puppet theatre stems from a time when rice paddy fields were flooded and villagers would make entertainment by standing in the waist-deep water with the puppets performing over the water.

DAY 06: HANOI – HALONG BAY WITH OVERNIGHT ONBOARD OF CRUISE

As an UNESCO World Heritage site,Ha Long Bay is the most famous destination in Vietnam, and it becomes a must see place in tourist’s eyes once they come to Vietnam. The bay covers more than 1500 square kilometers with thousands of limestone islands, which is unique and no words to describle the beauty of Ha Long Bay 

08:15:   Transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay (if the package is included transfer service).

12:00:   Arrive at Ancora Lounge on Tuan Chau island          

12:45:   Board the boat and start your journey. Enjoy welcome drinks during the itinerary and

safety briefing from Cruise Manager.

13:00:  Let the vacation begin with a set lunch as the boat cruises towards the southeast of   Halong Bay, passing Fighting- Cock and Finger Islet.

15:00:   Explore Surprise cave, one of the biggest caves in Ha Long Bay with beautiful

16:00:   stalactites Swim or hike on Titov Island.

17:00:   Optional onboard activities traditional spa extra charge, sunbathing on board.

17:30:   Traditional Vietnamese cooking and fruit carving demonstration on sundeck (or in the restaurant in case of inclement weather) while boat cruises to overnight anchorage area.

19:30:   Set menu dinner is served in the restaurant

21:00:   Relax in your cabin or join our staff at the reception for squid fishing.

DAY 07: HALONG BAY – HANOI

06:15:   start your day with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.

07:00:  light breakfast is served. The vessel weights anchor to cruise through more of a Ha Long Bay.

07:45:   visit Luon Cave are by bamboo boat or kayaking.

09:00:   Brunch is served in the restaurant while the boat heads back to the harbor.

10:45:   Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina.

Rest of the day is at leisure or can spend time at some of the famous shopping malls like TGrang Tien Plaza or Vincome Center Ba Trieu.

Meal: Breakfast and Lunch on board.
