Destination:

Scandinavia is a region in Northern Europe, with strong historical, cultural, and linguistic ties. The term Scandinavia in local usage covers the three kingdoms of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

The geography of Scandinavia is extremely varied. Notable are the Norwegian fjords, the Scandinavian Mountains, the flat, low areas in Denmark and the archipelagos of Sweden and Norway. Swedena has many lakes and moraines, legacies of the ice age, which ended about ten millennia ago!

DAY 01: ARRIVE IN HELSINKI

On arrival in Helsinki, our Tour Manager / Station Manager / Local representative will meet you outside the airport. Proceed to the hotel and check–in.

Helsinki, Finland’s southern capital, sits on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland. Its central avenue, Mannerheimintie, is flanked by institutions including the National Museum, tracing Finnish history from the Stone Age to the present. Also on Mannerheimintie are the imposing Parliament House and Kiasma, a contemporary art museum.

Spend some free time on your own. Tonight, a welcome dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight in Helsinki.

DAY 02: HELSINKI – ROVANIEMI

Breakfast at your hotel. Today, we fly to Rovaniemi, the official home town of Santa Clause. Proceed to visit the Santa Claus Village here you have some free time. Later, proceed for guided tour of Arktikum Museum, a museum and science centre exploring the Arctic region.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner.

DAY 03: ROVANIEMI – VUOKATTI

Visit the Rauna zoo, the northernmost zoo in the world (May onwards). Next visit Reindeer farm. Next drive to Voukatti and visit a local Beer Brewery. Enjoy Beer tasting and tour of the Brewery. Tonight enjoy a local dinner and check in to your hotel.

DAY 04: VUOKATTI – HELSINKI

Check out and proceed to the snow tunnel and enjoy the famous Husky ride in summertime. Next drive to Kuopio and visit the Puijon tower. Today enjoy a local lunch. Later continue drive to Helsinki and enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant before checking into your hotel.

DAY 05: HELSINKI – PORVOO – ON BOARD – STOCKHOLM

Drive to Porvoo – A medieval town in Finland. Spend some free time. Next proceed for a guided city tour of Helsinki: See the Senate Square, the Lutheran Tempelliauki Church, the Sibelius monument, the Presidential Palace, Finlandia Hall, Opera House and many more interesting sights. Later we board the luxurious cruise across the Baltic Sea to Stockholm. Enjoy onboard activities and shopping on the cruise.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 06: STOCKHOLM

Disembark at Stockholm; proceed for a guided city tour: Visit the glamorous City Hall – where the Nobel Prize banquette takes place, see the Royal Palace and the Cathedral, and visit the famous Vasa Museum.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner.

DAY 07: STOCKHOLM – OSLO

Drive to Oslo. Enroute, visit the town of Karlstad, situated on the northern shores of Lake Vanern, Take a photo stop at Lake Vanern – the largest lake of Sweden.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 08: OSLO TOUR

Proceed for a guided city tour of Oslo: Visit Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum and the Holmenkollen Ski Jump area and many more on your guided tour. Next visit the famous Ice Bar. Evening is free to explore the city on your own.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 09: OSLO – FLAM

Drive to Geilo. Board train to Myrdal, change to the Flam railway line, for a scenic travel to Flam. Wander around the idyllic countryside, before embarking on a boat ride through the Aurlandsfjord into the Naeroyfjord, one of the narrowest fjords in Europe, surrounded by mountains of up to 1800 meters. On arrival at scenic Gudvangen, board the coach and travel through the impressive Norwegian landscape to Berge.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 10: BERGEN TOUR – FLY TO COPENHAGEN

Guided city tour of Bergen: See the Hanseatic wharf Bryggen with its pastel–colour wooden houses, winding cobblestone streets, and old Bergen. Next, take a ride on the Funicular train, to the top of the mountain Floyen for an ariel view of Bergen. Later, fly to Copenhagen.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner.

DAY 11: COPENHAGEN

Guided city tour of Copenhagen: See the City Hall, Parliament building, Amalienborg Palace, Stock Exchange, Gefion fountain, Little Mermaid statue and many other interesting sights. Next, visit the famous Tivoli Gardens. Here you will have an opportunity to enjoy the various rides on your own.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 12: DEPARTURE –

Proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Do spare a few minutes to share your feedback with your Tour Manager. Your valued suggestions will be most appreciated. Arrive home with pleasant memories of your European tour, which we are sure you will treasure for a lifetime!

  • Tips to guides, drivers, hotel waiters, etc. of Euro 03 per person per day (including infant) to be paid to the Tour Manager on day 01 of the tour.
  • Baggage handling fees for additional check-in baggage and any additional sectors for internal flights.

Important Notes:

  • The group tour will operate with a Tour Manager subject to a minimum of 20 full-paying passengers travelling together.
  • The hotels and services as mentioned in the itinerary are subject to confirmation.
  • In case of unavailability in mentioned hotels, alternate accommodation will be arranged in a similar category hotel.
  • International Standard check-in & check-out time of the hotels will be @ 14:00 & 11:00 hours respectively. However, it may vary depends on the hotels/destinations.
  • The Rate of Exchange (R.O.E) will be the prevailing rate on the day/date of booking

  • Optional tours are booked & paid on 100% nonrefundable & non cancellation policy.
  • A person below 12 years of age on date of return flight will be considered a child.
  • A baby below 24 months of age on date of return flight will be considered an infant.
  • Functioning of Air cooling/Air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local authority.
  • Security alerts and random closures might affect the itinerary.
  • All the internal flights will allow one piece of check in bag per person up to 20kg and carryon baggage upto 7kgs only. In capital cities during guided city tours, there are parking restrictions for coaches and it is not possible to stop at all the places during the city tour. Tour Manager will try his/her best to stop coach wherever possible for a photo stop.
