Witness unique architecture and scenic sights as you travel through Moscow and St. Petersburg. Cruise across Neva River to glide beneath beautiful bridges and pass by Peter and Paul Fortress, the elegant Summer Garden and the Mariinsky Theatre. Visit the cathedrals of St. Basil’s, Isaac and Christ the Savior. Stroll by the Nevskiy Avenue in St. Petersburg and get a glimpse of Russian history with the Bronze Horseman. A visit to the walled complex of Kremlin, the seat of power, and the Nikulin Circus seals off the trip.
DAY 01: ARRIVE IN SAINT PETERSBURG & CRUISE IN THE EVENING
The second largest city in Russia, St. Petersburg is the cultural heart of the country. St. Petersburg is a Russian port city on the Baltic Sea. It was the imperial capital for 2 centuries, founded in 1703 by Peter the Great, subject of the city’s iconic ‘Bronze Horseman’ statue.
Upon your arrival in Saint Petersburg, transfer to your hotel (own). Tour Manager will assist with check-in. Then we proceed for Neva River Cruise in the evening. This sightseeing cruise lets you sail along the Neva River, pass the Peter and Paul Fortress; glide beneath some of the city’s beautiful bridges; and pass elegant landmarks such as the Summer Garden and Mariin sky Theatre as you marvel at their magnificence.
Later enjoy an Indian dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel

DAY 02: ST. PETERSBURG – TANK RIDE & CITY TOUR
Post a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel, proceed for Tank ride and shooting range. Post the excursion proceeds for a City Tour of the most beautiful city of Russia. This half-day orientation city tour will take you around the city and to some of the famous stops and buildings of St. Petersburg. Each stop will be approximately 10-25 minutes, allowing you enough time to marvel at the beauty of these places, click pictures or learn more about the monuments. Please note that entry tickets to places/monuments are not included in the city tour. The tour will take you to the main street located in the heart of the city – Nevskiy Avenue – along with a glimpse of the Bronze Horseman, a monument of Emperor Peter I, who opened the window to Europe for Russia. You will also witness the Peter and Paul’s fortress, Blood of the Savior Cathedral and the majestic Isaac Cathedral during this tour; while crossing the Palace Bridge, Mars Field and Hermitage Museum amongst others.
After the city tour you can head back to hotel to spend the evening at leisure.
End the day with a warm and comforting Indian dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03: HERMITAGE MUSEUM/ SAPSAN TRAIN RIDE TO MOSCOW
After breakfast, spend half day at leisure or continue with an optional tour of Hermitage Museum (at an additional cost). One of the most famous art museums in the world, the Hermitage Museum is housed in the Winter Palace, and contains over 2.7 million exhibits including some of the world’s greatest works of art. After the tour, you will be escorted to the railway station for your high-speed Sapsan train ride to Moscow. The train journey is approximately for 4 hours. You will be greeted by a tour guide right outside your train compartment, and will be escorted to the hotel for a prompt check-in. After dinner, overnight at hotel.

DAY 04: MOSCOW CITY TOUR & METRO TOUR
After breakfast at the hotel, start your day with a Moscow City Tour. This city tour of Moscow by bus is an orientation tour that will take you around the city and cover Moscow’s landmarks. You will stop for approximately 10-20 minutes at each place and entry tickets are not included in the tour. The tour covers the famous 16th century New Maiden Convent, Sparrow Hills (for a beautiful view of the city!), Moscow State University and Christ the Saviour Cathedral – one of the most imposing and controversial buildings in Russia. You will also stop at the city center for a quick visit to the Red Square, where the colourful St. Basil’s Cathedral is located. This cathedral has shaped the identity of Russia for years! After city tour we will go for Metro Tour which defines the history and art of Russian culture in a unique manner to see 4 of the most famous metro stations. Return to the hotel by day end after an Indian dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 05: MOSCOW – DAY IS AT LEISURE/ THE KREMLIN TOUR
After breakfast you can spend rest of the day at leisure and explore the city on your own. You could opt to attend the famous Russian Circus (at an additional cost). Known for its excellent shows and great costumes, this small circus, with clowns, acrobats and jugglers, is a popular draw for children. Please note that tickets are subject to availability if not pre booked. And you can also opt for a tour of The Kremlin (at an additional cost) which is located in the city center and is home to the President as well as the famous armory chamber. Moscow’s most famous historical and political landmark, the Kremlin is a walled-in complex of cathedrals, palaces and government offices, with several buildings open to the public, including the Armoury, Patriarch’s Palace and the State Kremlin Palace. Return to the hotel after the tour.
Post amazing Indian dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 08: DEPARTURE
As your splendid holiday in Russia comes to an end, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend some time at leisure. Later head to the airport on sharing transfers basis, to return home with amazing memories of Russia.
